The Knipex 70 01 160 diagonal cutters is customized for day to day cutting tasks in the work of electricians, mechatronics engineers, and more. The 70 01 160 has cutting capacities of up to 2.0 mm on hard wire and up to 4.0 mm on soft wire. This diagonal cutter also offers precise cutting of fine CU wire, even with the tips of the cutting edges. With design in mind, the 70 01 160 is suitable for working in confined spaces thanks its slim head shape. The Knipex 70 01 160 diagonal cutter is forged from vanadium electric steel and then warming them and then quenching them in oil to make them strong. To achieve a permanently accurate cut Knipex additionally uses high-frequency current to give the cutters a hardness of approximately 62 HRC. The handles are covered in plastic to cut back on user fatigue during use.
