The Makita XWT02Z brings impressive power and improved ergonomics to the Makita 18V LXT tool lineup. This compact, cordless impact wrench boasts a 3-speed selector switch to give users greater control over their power output: 0-2,800 rpm setting offers optimum torque, 0-2,100 rpm setting helps control driving depth and fastener tension, and 0-1,600 rpm allows for precision fastening. With this new level of versatility and an impact mechanism that produces 210 ft-lb and up to 3,500 ipm, there aren’t a lot of jobs this impact wrench can’t handle. Regarding the handle, it boasts a rubberized grip, making users’ hands more comfortable than ever on lengthy jobs. Users don’t have to be overly concerned with maintenance when it comes to the XWT02Z impact wrench, as the brushless motor in this tool is engineered to run for longer at a higher power and speed and deliver an overall longer tool life. The LED light beneath the chuck improves visibility and therefore accuracy on any project. As part of Makita’s LXT system, the XWT02Z is compatible with any Makita 18V LXT battery, including models BL1815, BL1815N, BL1820, BL1830, BL1840, BL1850 (sold separately). Star Protection Computer Controls allow the tool and battery to communicate, monitoring conditions to protect both components from overloading, over-discharging, and overheating.
