The Metabo HPT/Hitachi C12FDH 15-Amp 12-Inch Dual Compound Miter Saw has flexible miter angles and compound cutting capability for trim carpenters, woodworkers, framers, and more. The C12FDH is built with a 15-amp motor that generates a no-load speed of up to 4,000-RPM and 1,950-watts of max power. This dual compound miter saw is equipped with its exclusive Laser Marker System that can be activated before the blade is in motion for exact alignment and blade placement. The Metabo HPT/Hitachi C12FDH features a splinter guard for increased safety and reduces tear-out for clean, finished cuts, and a comfortable horizontal handle with a vibration-reducing elastomer grip. The large base on the C12FDH provides support and balance to prevent material from warping, along with a built-in clamping system holds your work piece in place. The thumb-actuated positive miter stops on this compound miter saw allow for simple miter adjustments between 0 and 52-degrees left and right for quick cut changes in crown molding and other trim pieces. The bevel scale ranges from 0 to 48-degrees left and right, allowing the material to stay in place while flipping the saw head to make opposing cuts. The large extended flip fence on the C12FDH raises to 5-1/8-inches to allow for accurate vertical cutting of crown molding and work pieces up to 2-5/16-in high and 5-21/32-in deep. This Metabo HPT/Hitachi saw includes a 12-inch 32-tooth TCT saw blade, vice assembly, dust bag, box wrench and hex bar wrench.
