Metabo HPT/Hitachi UC18YSL3SM 18V Lithium-Ion Power Tool Battery and Charger Starter Kit

The Metabo HPT/Hitachi UC18YSL3SM 18V lithium-ion battery charger kit includes (1) UC18YSL3 rapid battery charger with USB port and (2) BSL1830C 18V compact 3.0 Ah li-ion batteries. The UC18YSL3S charger cools the battery during the charging cycle to prevent overheating and comes with a color light indicator to indicate battery charge status. The UC18YSL3 charger can also replenish a depleted 18V 6.0Ah battery in less than 38 minutes. This Metabo HPT/Hitachi rapid charger is produced with a USB port that can charge smartphones and other mobile devices for added convenience. The BSL1830C 3.0 Ah battery packs are rated at 3.0 Amp Hour and are compact and lightweight to help reduce user fatigue. For protection from the elements, these BSL1830C feature a resin coating along complex circuitry that also prevents damage from overload, overcharge, and over-discharge of the battery. These Metabo HPT/Hitachi li-ion batteries have the same capacity as conventional 18V 3.0Ah Lithium Ion Batteries, while the footprint is ¾-in shorter in height and 0.6 lbs lighter in weight. The BSL1830C battery packs are compatible with 18V lithium-ion Metabo HPT/Hitachi tool models that accept slide-style batteries (sold separately).

Hitachi Power Tools is rebranding to Metabo HPT. Though the name is changing, customers can still expect the same great quality power tools, tool parts, and accessories they always received from Hitachi. During the transition, branding may vary from product to product.
