There are a few factors to consider when you determine what ScaleBlaster unit you should get:
Water Hardness Level
Residential Models:
Pipe Type
Residential Models: Copper, PVC, CPVC and PEX pipe.
Commercial and Industrial Models: Copper, PVC, CPVC, PEX and Non-magnetic Steel Pipe
For Residential: Size of House
When determining the size of your home, consider; # of floors, # of bathrooms and type of water heater(s).
- Small to Large Homes: SB-75
- Large homes with multiple floors, large tank-less heaters and homes with pressure tanks: SB-MAX or SB-MAX PRO
