The Knipex 95 11 200 8-in twin cutting cable shears are customized for day to day cutting tasks in the work of electricians, mechatronics engineers, and more. The 95 11 200 is capable of cutting copper and aluminum cables but are not suitable for steel wire and hard drawn copper conductors. The 95 11 200 shears provide clean and smooth cuts without crushing or deforming the material. By dividing the cutting actions into initial cut (insulating sheath in the front cutting area) and final cut (conductor in the back cutting area), cables up to 20 mm diameter can be cut in one-hand operation. With design in mind, the 95 11 200 is suitable for working in confined spaces and features an adjustable, self-locking bolted joint. The Knipex 95 11 200 twin cutting cable shears are forged from vanadium electric steel and then warming them and then quenching them in oil to make them strong. The handles are covered in plastic to cut back on user fatigue during use.
