The Makita DC18RC rapid optimum battery charger is designed to optimize the battery life while charging them. The charger communicates with battery’s built-in chip to control voltage, current and temperature electronically and optimizes the battery life. The built-in fans cool the battery for faster charging by forcing air through the battery’s air vents. DC18RC can complete the full charge cycle of a battery in just 25-45 minutes. Makita DC18RC is fully compatible with Makita battery models BL1815, BL1815N, BL1820, BL1830, BL1840, BL1850, and BL1430 (sold separately).
