The Makita XFD10ZW 18V drill/driver offers users a compact yet powerful tool for completing drilling and driving tasks in a number of materials. The driver offers a 2-speed transmission to deliver rotational speeds of 0-600 and 0-1,900 rpm. The XFD10ZW driver features compact measurements of 7-1/4-in long and 3.3-lb (with battery; sold separately), encouraging its use in compact areas and overhead applications. The 1/2-in chuck holds securely to bits, reducing occurrences of slipping. The handle is ergonomic with a rubberized soft-grip to aid in user comfort. A powerful LED around the chuck illuminates the work area, improving user visibility and accuracy. Featuring Star Protection computer controls, this tool is protected against damage from overloading, over-discharging, and over-heating. This bare tool drill/driver is compatible with a number of Makita 18V lithium-ion batteries, such as models BL1815, BL1815N, BL1820, BL1830, BL1840, and BL1850 (sold separately).
