Power up any 36V/18V slide style multivolt Metabo HPT power tools with the BSL36B18 lithium-ion battery. This battery boasts up to 4.0Ah/8.0Ah of runtime, making it capable of tackling large or small projects. This battery is engineered with a power source option. This feature offers the power of a corded tool, while giving the user the freedom of operating any multivolt tool anywhere they please. This battery is engineered with a higher capacity battery cell technology with 21700 cells that boast over 1.440W of power, which is 46% more capacity than standard battery models with 18650 cells. This higher capacity in cells also helps with longer runtime and increased power output. The 4-stage fuel gauge located on the face of the battery, helps the user keep track of their charge while never having to worry about fully draining the battery. Another impressive feature the BSL36B18 multivolt battery has, is that it’s constructed with a multiplex protection circuit. This helps prevent over-load, over-charge, and over-discharge. When the Metabo HPT battery is in need of a charge users can rely on the UC18SL3M charger (sold separately) to charge their battery in 52 minutes.
