The DeWalt N073798 Sander Platen is an OEM structural replacement base designed to provide a flat, rigid platform for 1/4 sheet palm sanders. Positioned at the bottom of the sander, the platen serves as the main structural foundation that holds the felt/foam pad and sandpaper assembly in place. Replacing a cracked, warped, or worn platen eliminates uneven surface sanding, excessive vibration, and paper slipping, restoring your sander's original smoothing precision and flat finish. DeWalt N073798 Platen is designed specifically to fit DeWalt Sheet Palm Sanders: D26441 (Types 1 & 2), D26441K, DW411 (Types 1–3), and DW412 (Types 1 & 2).
