The Makita 326188-1 Anvil M is an OEM replacement component engineered specifically for the front-end assembly of Makita cordless impact drivers. Positioned inside the gear housing, the anvil receives the high-frequency rotational strikes from the tool’s internal hammer and translates that immense kinetic energy directly into the driving bit. Over time, heavy use, high-torque demands, and metal fatigue can warp or crack the anvil's 1/4" hex retaining sleeve. This factory-spec replacement restores proper bit retention, eliminates wobble, and returns the impact mechanism to maximum driving power and efficiency. Built specifically to fit the Makita LXDT08 and LXDT08Z 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Impact Drivers (including the LXDT08C1 kit variants).
