The SB8V2 variable speed belt sander sands metallic and wooden surfaces, removes rust and old paint, finishes flooring, prepares surfaces for painting, and finishes masonry materials such as slate and concrete. This Metabo HPT/Hitachi sander is built with a 9.0 Amp, 1020W motor that produces forcible power for even the toughest sanding jobs. The variable speed dial adjusts speed from 820-1475 ft/min for improved manageability during any operation. The SB8V2 features a soft wear-resistant V-belt and a soft elastomer grip surface on the main and auxiliary handles for a comfortable and secure hold. Designed with a tracking window, this belt sander offers improved visibility of sanding surface and sanding belt during use. Due to its flush design, this tool allows for quick and even sanding.
