The Spyder 600089CF 2-5/8-Inch Bi-Metal Hole Saw is engineered for fast, clean, and accurate hole cutting through steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, nail-embedded wood, plywood, OSB, MDF, PVC, plastics, drywall, laminates, fiber cement board, composite decking, sheet metal, and other construction materials. Manufactured from durable bi-metal steel with a variable tooth pitch design, it provides smoother cuts, reduced vibration, efficient chip ejection, and extended cutting life in demanding jobsite conditions. Its 2-5/8-inch cutting diameter and 1-7/8-inch cutting depth make it ideal for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, automotive, flooring, fabrication, and general construction projects. The hole saw is compatible with Spyder Rapid Core Eject® arbors and pilot bits as well as universal 5/8"-18 threaded hole saw arbors for use with drill/drivers and drill presses. When paired with the Rapid Core Eject® arbor, cores can be removed quickly without prying, helping improve productivity. For safe operation, use only in standard rotary drilling mode with a drill equipped with a support handle and appropriate personal protective equipment. Not intended for hammer or impact drilling.
